Job summary

Trust Recruit Pte Ltd is seeking a Laboratory Technician in Singapore to support the formulation and testing of lubricants. You will receive raw materials, perform beaker blends, and assess trial oils under technical guidance to drive performance improvements.

The role involves tabulating results, preparing customer test samples for affiliates, coordinating equipment purchases, and collaborating with Lubricants R&D and regional sales to meet deadlines while maintaining safety in the laboratory.

Qualifications

• Experience in modifying formulation or developing new formulations for lubricants.
• Hands-on beaker blending and testing of trial oils.
• Ability to analyze trial results and propose improvements with guidance from technical advisors.

Responsibilities

• Receive and modify raw materials for lubricant formulations.
• Perform beaker blends and evaluate performance of trial oils.
• Analyze trial results and identify improvements with input from technicians/advisors.
• Tabulate results and prepare research reports on formulation studies.
• Prepare customer test samples for affiliates and ensure timely delivery.
• Assist in equipment purchases as directed by management.
• Discuss technical aspects with Lubricants R&D and affiliates.
• Handle special test requests from regional sales and meet deadlines.
• Maintain laboratory instruments and housekeeping; ensure safety compliance.
