Job summary

Public Service Division in Singapore is seeking a Deputy Manager / Manager, Technology, Operations Policy and Strategy to lead policy development for road asset maintenance, traffic management and enforcement. You will assess operational challenges, propose data‑driven interventions and partner across divisions to align policies with national transport objectives.

The role offers broad exposure to policy, operations, technology and stakeholder engagement in a dynamic public service environment.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in any discipline.
• Experience in policy, strategy, operations, programme management or related field is a bonus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with sound judgement and ability to develop practical recommendations.

What you will be working on

Join us to solve complex problems, shape policy and transform Singapore's road operations, specifically on road asset maintenance, traffic management, as well as enforcement and compliance. You will influence national-level operational policies, champion innovation and work with stakeholders across the organisation to keep Singapore moving safely and efficiently.

• Develop, review and implement policies for road asset maintenance, traffic management, enforcement and compliance.
• Assess emerging operational challenges and recommend practical interventions that balance operational effectiveness, public needs and organisational objectives.
• Review frameworks and processes to keep them relevant, effective and future-ready.
• Leverage technology, data, new operating models and global best practices to improve policy effectiveness, operational efficiency and service delivery.
• Drive strategic and transformation initiatives that strengthen LTA's road operations capabilities.
• Partner stakeholders across divisions to align policies, processes and operational priorities.
• Engage senior management, secure buy-in and represent the division in cross-functional workgroups and forums.
