Public Service Division in Singapore invites applications for a Senior / Executive Transport Planner to contribute to the planning and development of the nation’s transport network. You will identify, evaluate and implement road and transport projects, design data collection, and forecast travel demand.

You will work with other agencies to develop integrated transport and land use plans and provide planning expertise to support future development.

[What the role is]

SENIOR / EXECUTIVE TRANSPORT PLANNER

[What you will be working on]

You will contribute to the planning and development of the nation’s transport network by identifying, evaluating, and implementing new road and transport-related infrastructure projects. You will design and oversee data collection activities, analyse and interpret survey findings, develop transport network improvement proposals, forecast travel demand, assess community benefits, and evaluate the economic performance of transport initiatives. Working closely with other Government agencies, you will also play a key role in developing integrated transport and land use plans, while providing transportation planning expertise to support future land use development initiatives across Singapore.

[What we are looking for]

• Knowledge in any qualifications, preferably in Town/Urban Planning, Geography, Economics or a related discipline
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex datasets and draw meaningful conclusions
• Excellent communication and writing skills Candidates with relevant experience, good understanding of transport/town planning principles and/or policy development and strong analytical capabilities will be considered for senior roles
