Zusammenfassung

LTA Land Transport Authority is seeking a Senior/Executive Transport Planner to contribute to Singapore’s transport network development. You will identify and implement road and transport projects, design data collection, analyse survey findings, forecast travel demand and assess community benefits.

You will work with government agencies to develop integrated transport and land use plans and provide planning expertise for future land use initiatives across Singapore.

Qualifikationen

• Degree in Town/Urban Planning, Geography, Economics or related discipline.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities; able to interpret complex data.
• Excellent communication and writing skills.
• Experience in transport planning or policy development preferred for senior roles.

[What the role is]SENIOR / EXECUTIVE TRANSPORT PLANNER[What you will be working on]You will contribute to the planning and development of the nation's transport network by identifying, evaluating, and implementing new road and transport-related infrastructure projects. You will design and oversee data collection activities, analyse and interpret survey findings, develop transport network improvement proposals, forecast travel demand, assess community benefits, and evaluate the economic performance of transport initiatives. Working closely with other Government agencies, you will also play a key role in developing integrated transport and land use plans, while providing transportation planning expertise to support future land use development initiatives across Singapore.[What we are looking for]Knowledge in any qualifications, preferably in Town/Urban Planning, Geography, Economics or a related disciplineStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex datasets and draw meaningful conclusionsExcellent communication and writing skills Candidates with relevant experience, good understanding of transport/town planning principles and/or policy development and strong analytical capabilities will be considered for senior rolesAs part of the shortlisting process for the role, you may be required to complete a medical declaration and / or undergo further assessment.
