Public Service Division is seeking a Senior/Assistant Engineer in Development & Building Control (Rail) to help regulate railway protection zones, corridors and road safety areas. You will review designs, perform risk assessments, and verify construction methods for rail and road projects.

SENIOR/ ASSISTANT ENGINEER, DEVELOPMENT & BUILDING CONTROL (RAIL)
You will be part of a team responsible for regulating development and building works within railway protection zones, railway corridors, and road structure safety zones to safeguard rapid transit systems, road structures, and public streets.
Your role will involve reviewing the design of both temporary and permanent works that affect rapid transit systems, road structures, and public streets. You will conduct engineering risk assessments and analyses, evaluate construction methodologies and instrumentation proposals, and review geotechnical and structural instrumentation data. In addition, you will support the execution of site inspections to verify that construction and engineering works are carried out in accordance with approved method statements and technical requirements.
