Job summary

Land Transport Authority (LTA) seeks a Principal/Senior Engineer to administer and enhance Common Data Environment (CDE) platforms and digital engineering systems in Singapore. You will drive automation, data integration and AI-enabled solutions to boost engineering productivity and governance across infrastructure projects.

You will work with engineering users, vendors, and stakeholders to deliver scalable digital solutions, establish platform governance, and build dashboards supporting

• Knowledge in CS/IS/Data Science/Software Engineering or related discipline.
• Experience in digital platform implementation, software development or systems engineering.
• Experience delivering automation, analytics or data-driven solutions.
• Demonstrated ability to implement technical solutions, not only manage projects.
• Experience with enterprise information management or engineering systems.

[What the role is]

PRINCIPAL/ SENIOR ENGINEER (COMMON DATA ENVIRONMENT & DIGITAL PLATFORMS)

[What you will be working on]

Administration and enhancement of Common Data Environment (CDE) platforms and digital engineering systems that support infrastructure project delivery. The role focuses on system integration, information management, automation, data engineering and AI-enabled solutions to improve engineering productivity and organisational effectiveness.

The engineer will work with engineering users, technology vendors and internal stakeholders to deliver scalable digital solutions that strengthen LTA's digital engineering ecosystem.

• Administer and enhance Common Data Environment (CDE) platforms and associated digital engineering systems.


• Design and implement automation solutions to improve engineering workflows and business processes.


• Develop and maintain integrations between engineering platforms, enterprise systems and external applications.


• Support implementation of AI, Generative AI and data-driven solutions for engineering and corporate use cases.


• Establish platform governance, metadata standards and information management controls.


• Develop dashboards, analytics and reporting solutions to support operational decision-making.


• Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend innovative solutions to improve digital capabilities.


• Collaborate with business users to translate operational needs into technical solutions and system enhancements.

[What we are looking for]

• Knowledge in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, Software Engineering, Civil Engineering or other relevant disciplines.


• Experience in digital platform implementation, software development, systems engineering or enterprise application administration.


• Experience developing or deploying automation, analytics or data-driven solutions.


• Demonstrated experience in implementing technical solutions rather than solely managing projects or maintaining systems.


• Experience working with enterprise information management or engineering systems.
