Job summary

GovTech is seeking a Principal/Senior Engineer to lead the integration and evolution of the Common Data Environment and digital platforms that support infrastructure project delivery. PRINCIPAL/ SENIOR ENGINEER (COMMON DATA ENVIRONMENT & DIGITAL PLATFORMS)

Administration and enhancement of Common Data Environment (CDE) platforms and digital engineering systems that support infrastructure project delivery. The role focuses on system integration, information management, automation, data engineering and AI-enabled solutions to improve engineering productivity and organisational effectiveness.

• Administer and enhance Common Data Environment (CDE) platforms and associated digital engineering systems.
• Design and implement automation solutions to improve engineering workflows and business processes.
• Develop and maintain integrations between engineering platforms, enterprise systems and external applications.
• Support implementation of AI, Generative AI and data-driven solutions for engineering and corporate use cases.

• Experience in digital platform implementation, software development, systems engineering or enterprise application administration.
• Experience developing or deploying automation, analytics or data-driven solutions.
• Demonstrated experience in implementing technical solutions rather than solely managing projects or maintaining systems.
• Experience working with enterprise information management or engineering systems.

Technical Competencies

• Strong programming and technical problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in one or more of the following: Python SQL REST APIs Power Platform JavaScript Cloud-based services.

Experience with one or more of the following: Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) Bentley ProjectWise SharePoint Azure Services Power BI Enterprise Search Platform

• Preferred Competencies: Experience in: Data Engineering Systems Integration Workflow Automation GenAI / AI Solutions Development Knowledge Management Platforms Digital Product Development Familiarity with BIM workflows and engineering project delivery environments.
