Job summary

Land Transport Authority (LTA) Singapore is seeking a Senior/Executive Infrastructure Engineer for Enforcement Systems within the Traffic & Road IT domain. You will design, develop, and maintain cloud-native infrastructure, implementing CI/CD pipelines and IaC for automation while ensuring security and regulatory compliance.

Collaboration with stakeholders is essential throughout project lifecycle. You will also lead system software implementation, maintenance activities, and manage feasibility

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in systems engineering, design thinking and project management.
• Proficient in AWS, Google Cloud, Azure; on‑prem infrastructure and security solutions.
• Knowledge of Government ICT Policies and IM8 compliance.
• Strong written, verbal and presentation skills; ability to work independently or in a team.
• Willing to undergo medical declaration / assessments as part of shortlisting.

[LTA-TRO] SENIOR/ EXECUTIVE INFRASTRUCTURE ENGINEER, ENFORCEMENT SYSTEMS, TRAFFIC & ROAD IT

What you will be working on

Working in a team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, operating and maintaining the infrastructure that supports cloud-based software solutions within the Traffic & Road IT domain. You will provide technical expertise in cloud-native application development, DevOps, and automation. You will design and develop scalable, resilient, and secure cloud-native applications, fostering best practices in software development and DevOps. Beyond these, you will implement CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for cloud automation, ensure adherence to security standards, compliance regulations, and coding best practices as well as collaborate with stakeholders to define technical requirements and architecture strategies.

Your work will involve project management, system software implementation and maintenance activities including to conduct technical feasibility study, project planning, tender and design review, installation, testing, commissioning, operation & maintenance and documentation of the system operation and maintenance manuals.

You will also be involved in leading the collaboration with both internal and external parties in establishing system requirements and performance specifications, and handling user and/or public queries pertaining to systems under your charge as part of the project and maintenance management work scope.

What we are looking for

• Knowledge in Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Electronic Engineering, or a related field, with at least 5 years of experience in systems engineering, process design thinking and project management preferred.


• Proficiency in Cloud Computing Platforms (e.g. AWS, Google Cloud, Azure), on-premises infrastructure (e.g. servers, storage, network firewalls, and switches) and security solutions (e.g. SIEM, IDS/IPS) is required.


• The ability to interpret and apply Government ICT Policies and Information Security Management Standards (IM8) compliance is essential; knowledge of AI and machine learning, as well as Agile project management, will be advantageous.


• Strong written, verbal, and presentation communication skills, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.


• Demonstrates initiative, resourcefulness, a keen interest in problem-solving, a strong sense of responsibility, and an analytical mindset.
