Job summary

Land Transport Authority (LTA) Singapore seeks a Senior/Executive Engineer for Active Mobility to oversee planning, design and review of walking and cycling schemes. You will work with government agencies and stakeholders to enhance the travel experience for commuters, cyclists, and pedestrians, advising developers and other agencies on related projects.

The role emphasizes professional judgement and strong communication as you engage with communities and stakeholders in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Knowledge in Civil Engineering, Traffic/Transportation-related or operational fields.
• At least 2 years of experience in traffic/transportation-related or operational roles.
• Proactive, with good communication and leadership skills; lateral thinking.
• Familiarity with Microstation, AutoCAD or ArcGIS Pro is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plan, design, implement and review walking and cycling schemes in Singapore.
• Collaborate with government agencies and stakeholders on active mobility projects.

What you will be working on

You will play an active role in the network planning, engineering design, implementation and review of walking and cycling-related schemes in Singapore. You will work closely with government agencies and stakeholders to spearhead projects that will enhance the travel experience of commuters, cyclists, and pedestrians, to create an improved environment of active mobility for all users. In addition, you will offer professional advice to developers, consultants and other government agencies on related projects and studies. Besides exercising your professional judgement. You will also develop your interpersonal skills through interaction and communication with the community and various stakeholders. What we are looking for

• Knowledge in Civil Engineering, Traffic / Transportation Engineering
• At least 2 years of experience in Traffic / Transportation-related or operational fields / familiar with highway design
• Possess initiative, good communication and leadership skills with lateral thinking ability
• Knowledge of Microstation/AutoCAD/ArcGIS Pro would be an advantage
