Job summary

The Land Transport Authority in Singapore is seeking a hands-on System Interface & Integration Programmer on a 1-year contract to develop, integrate and commission smart building systems, including energy, occupancy and data collection components.

You will manage SI vendors, configure controllers and gateways, and contribute to dashboards and digital twin initiatives while ensuring reliable operation before handover.

Qualifications

• Knowledge in Electrical Engineering / Computer Engineering / Automation Engineering / Information Technology / Mechatronics Engineering
• At least 3 years of relevant experience in building systems integration, BMS, SCADA or IoT systems
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Able to read control schematics and system architecture drawings

Responsibilities

• Smart Building Implementation: Develop automated control strategies based on occupancy, temperature, air quality and energy consumption.
• Smart Building Implementation: Design and develop a data extraction concept from satellite campuses for centralized Smart FM dashboard in HQ.
• Smart Building Implementation: Prepare integration framework, including but not be limited to, communication, naming convention, graphics, and database storage for all satellite campuses and HQ
• Programming & Development: Develop in house software, dashboards and automation workflows.
• Programming & Development: Manage SI vendor to configure controllers, edge devices and IoT gateways.
• Programming & Development: Support data collection, analytics and digital twin initiatives.
• Testing & Commissioning: Oversee point-to-point testing and system integration testing to ensure all systems operate reliably before handover.
• Post Testing & Commissioning: Troubleshoot communication and control issues.

What the role is:

[LTA-ADM] SYSTEM INTERFACE & INTEGRATION PROGRAMMER (1YR CONTRACT)

What you will be working on:

We are looking for a hands-on and technically strong System Interface & Integration Programmer to develop, integrate and commission smart building systems.

The role includes managing SI vendor in programming, troubleshooting, testing and commissioning of lighting, fan, air-conditioning (ACMV) and other smart building systems.

Key Responsibilities :

Smart Building Implementation

• Develop automated control strategies based on occupancy, temperature, air quality and energy consumption.
• Design and develop a data extraction concept from satellite campuses for centralized Smart FM dashboard in HQ.
• Prepare integration framework, including but not be limited to, communication, naming convention, graphics, and database storage for all satellite campuses and HQ

Programming & Development

• Develop in house software, dashboards and automation workflows.

What we are looking for:

• At least 3 years of relevant experience in building systems integration, BMS, SCADA or IoT systems.
• Strong knowledge of Modbus, BACnet, MQTT, KNX, TCP/IP Networking, LoRaWAN
• Experience with Lighting Control Systems, HVAC / ACMV Systems, Fan Control Systems, BMS / iBMS Platforms, IoT Devices and Sensors
• Able to read control schematics and system architecture drawings.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
