Job summary

CAPE POINT MARINE PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking an experienced LPG Chartering Ship Broker to join our commercial team, responsible for developing LPG chartering business, maintaining market intelligence, and negotiating contracts with shipowners, operators and cargo interests.

You will conduct daily market contact, maintain records, prepare reports, and strengthen relationships with clients while identifying new opportunities to expand chartering activities in a fast-moving market.

Qualifications

• Proven LPG chartering or LPG shipping brokerage experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily contact with LPG shipowners, operators, traders and end users to gather market intelligence and opportunities.
• Maintain records of vessel positions, cargo enquiries, fixtures, and market movements.
• Negotiate main commercial terms of LPG chartering contracts and coordinate with operations.
• Prepare daily and weekly market reports with insights and forward market views.
• Maintain and strengthen client relationships by delivering high-quality brokerage service.
• Identify new business opportunities and emerging market participants to expand chartering activities.
• Collaborate with internal departments to ensure market coverage and information flow.

We are seeking an experienced and driven LPG Chartering Ship Broker to join our commercial team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing LPG chartering business, maintaining strong market intelligence, and negotiating chartering contracts with shipowners, operators, and cargo interests.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct daily contact with LPG shipowners, ship operators, traders, producers, and end users to gather market intelligence and commercial opportunities
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of vessel positions, cargo enquiries, fixtures, and market movements
• Negotiate main commercial terms of LPG chartering contracts and ensure smooth execution in coordination with the operations team
• Prepare daily and weekly market reports, providing insights and forward market views
• Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing clients by delivering high-quality brokerage service
• Identify new business opportunities and emerging market participants to expand chartering activities
• Work closely with internal departments and other desks to ensure best market coverage and information flow

Key Requirements

• Proven experience in LPG chartering / LPG shipping brokerage
• Strong understanding of LPG vessels, routes, and chartering structures
• Established network with shipowners, charterers, or trading houses is highly preferred
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Self-motivated, confident, and able to perform under pressure
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Confident and able to work well under pressure, with ability to adapt.

Remuneration

Commission-based structure (highly competitive, performance-driven)
