Job summary

Randstad Singapore is seeking an experienced software professional to design, build, and optimize high-performance trading software and execution algorithms for automated trading. You will own the full lifecycle from gathering trader requirements to automated testing, CI/CD, and live releases, collaborating closely with front-office desks to deliver algo solutions across asset classes in APAC.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years of hands-on software development with C/C++ in financial environments.
• Experience in algorithmic trading development for equities/derivatives.
• Strong knowledge of socket programming, multi-threading and concurrent computing.
• Experience designing and operating low-latency trading infrastructure and market connectivity.
• Familiarity with Windows-based enterprise development.
• Understanding of Asian electronic market structures and trading dynamics.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and optimize high-performance software and execution algorithms for automated trading.
• Develop trading strategies with a strong focus on clean software architecture and object-oriented design patterns.
• Implement robust socket-level networking protocols and manage complex multi-threaded concurrency challenges.
• Support, maintain, and enhance client-facing, low-latency electronic trading platforms.
• Integrate and optimize market connectivity tailored to Asian financial market exchanges.
• Collaborate closely with front-office desks to deliver algorithmic solutions across diverse asset classes.
