Job summary

JPMorgan Chase is seeking a Software Engineer III for its Prime Finance Services unit. You will join a global team across Hong Kong, Singapore, Glasgow, and Mumbai to architect and deliver market-leading technology products that are secure, scalable, and low-latency.

As a core technical contributor, you will drive design, development and production readiness of critical Java-based systems in equities, leveraging Kafka, AMPS, and KDB+/q while collaborating with stakeholders to deliver business

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/Engineering/Math or related discipline.
• 5+ years in real-time low-latency Java in equities.
• Proficiency in Java/Spring and GC tuning.
• Experience with CI/CD, resiliency, and security.

Responsibilities

• Develop real-time, low-latency Java applications for equities.
• Design and build a real-time trading platform using Java and KDB+/q.
• Utilize Kafka, AMPS for data streaming and messaging.
