Position Overview:
We are looking for a forward-thinking and enthusiastic Low-Code/AI-Assisted Developer Intern to join our technology team. In this role, you will be at the intersection of modern software development, utilizing drag-and-drop low-code platforms alongside cutting-edge AI generation tools (such as generative AI coding assistants and prompt engineering) to build, test, and deploy functional business applications rapidly.
This internship is designed to give you hands-on experience in accelerating the software development lifecycle, teaching you how to balance visual programming with AI workflows to deliver scalable solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Application Building: Configure process logic, user interfaces, forms, and automated business workflows using low-code/no-code platforms.
- AI-Assisted Development: Utilize approved AI-generation tools and code assistants to generate custom scripts, optimize code snippets, and accelerate prototyping.
- Prompt Engineering: Formulate and refine prompts to leverage Large Language Models (LLMs) for specific data processing and application features.
- Testing & Troubleshooting: Conduct functional testing and verification of implemented solutions, identifying bugs or logical errors in both low-code models and AI-generated code.
- Data & API Integration: Support the team in connecting applications to databases and external enterprise systems via REST APIs.
- Documentation & Review: Maintain transparent documentation of workflows, data models, and prompt structures to support long-term maintainability.
Qualifications & Skills
- Educational Background: Currently pursuing a Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
- Platform Interest: Strong interest or basic familiarity with major low-code/no-code environments (e.g., Google AppSheet, OutSystems).
- Technical Fundamentals: Basic programming knowledge in languages like Python, JavaScript, or HTML/CSS to extend low-code capabilities when required.
- AI Curiosity: Familiarity or experience using generative AI tools, code pilots, or prompt engineering techniques to solve technical problems.
- Analytical Thinker: A process-oriented mindset with the ability to map out logical business workflows visually.
- Soft Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, a proactive willingness to learn, and comfortable working in an agile environment.
What You Will Learn
- Core fundamentals of digital transformation and rapid application development.
- How to combine traditional programming logic with generative AI tools effectively.
- Practical knowledge of agile workflows, database architectures, and systems integration.
Note:
- Internship Period: January 2027 - June 2027.
- Able to commit to a 6 months full time internship duration.
- This is a full work-from-office (WFO) internship.
