Job summary

COLD STORAGE SINGAPORE (1983) PTE LTD is seeking a curious, hands-on software developer to build internal tools for our team and explore a cross-platform mobile app (iOS/Android). You will work directly with end-users, prototype rapidly with AI coding tools, and push AI-assisted workflows to improve delivery speed.

We value 1-3 years of software experience, comfort with modern stacks (Python/FastAPI + React or Node.js/TypeScript), and the ability to demo AI tooling.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in software development.
• Comfortable with at least one modern stack: Python/FastAPI + React, Node.js/TypeScript or similar.
• Hands-on experience using AI coding assistants (must be able to demo how you use them).
• Basic knowledge of Git, REST/GraphQL APIs, relational databases and cloud deployment.
• Prior experience shipping at least one app to the App Store/Play Store (even personal projects).
• Basic understanding of native build tooling (Xcode, Android Studio, Gradle).
• Strong problem-solving skills, self-directed learning mindset and comfort with ambiguity.
• A bias toward action: you'd rather build a prototype, get feedback and iterate than over-plan

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain internal web/app tools used by our Team Members
• Use AI coding assistants (Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot, etc.) as core parts of your workflow
• Gather requirements, prototype solutions and iterate based on user feedback
• Write clean, documented code and assist with deployment & troubleshooting
• Research and test new frameworks, APIs and AI workflows to improve efficiency
• Contribute to building our internal development standards and tooling

We're looking for a curious, hands-on developer to help us build and improve internal applications for our team. You'll work directly with end-users, iterate quickly and leverage modern AI coding tools (like Claude Code, Gemini Enterprise) to prototype, build and ship software faster. We want someone who's comfortable experimenting, questions legacy workflows and pushes the boundaries of what's possible with AI-assisted development. You'll also help us explore and potentially build our cross-platform mobile app (iOS/Android).

• Familiarity with Docker, CI/CD or cloud platforms (AWS/GCP)

• Portfolio/GitHub showing shipped projects or active experimentation
