PERSOL SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. is seeking a dependable driver to operate a tipper lorry across designated routes and sites, supporting daily material movements.

You will perform pre-trip and post-trip checks, load/unload using tipping controls, secure loads, follow safety procedures, and coordinate maintenance. The role emphasizes safety, routine vehicle upkeep, and readiness of safety equipment.

Qualifications

• Minimum secondary education completed or equivalent.
• Valid Singapore Class 4 driving licence.
• Relevant safety certification required for the role.
• Minimum 6 years of relevant driving experience supporting site/material transport operations.
• Minimum 1 year of tipper lorry driving experience.
• Able to carry out basic vehicle checks and routine upkeep.

Responsabilités

• Operate a tipper lorry safely to transport approved materials between designated locations.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip checks (e.g., tyres, lights, brakes, fluid levels) and record/report findings.
• Use the vehicle’s tipping/hydraulic controls to load/unload as required, following safe work procedures.
• Ensure loads are properly covered, secured, and balanced to reduce spill and safety risks.
• Follow road rules, site traffic management instructions, and internal safety procedures at all times.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and coordinate scheduled servicing/inspections based on maintenance guidelines.
• Carry and ensure readiness of required safety equipment (e.g., warning triangle, fire extinguisher).
• Escalate mechanical faults, damage, or safety concerns promptly for rectification.
• Comply with applicable requirements related to permitted load limits and transport conditions.
• Support ad-hoc operational duties assigned by the supervisor/engineer/project lead (job-related).
