Job summary

AVENUE ENGINEERING PTE. LTD. invites applications for a Class 4 Driver position based in Singapore.

You will transport materials, equipment, and personnel to and from job sites, supporting roadwork maintenance and construction projects with a strong emphasis on safety and timely delivery. Ideal candidates hold a valid Class 3/4 licence, have at least 2 years of relevant driving experience, and are physically fit for manual tasks.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 3/4 Singapore driving licence is required.
• Minimum 2 years of driving experience in construction or similar industry.
• Physically fit for manual tasks.
• Familiar with Singapore road safety and traffic regulations.
• Able to communicate in basic English.
• Punctual, responsible, and a team player.
• Willing to work overtime, weekends, or night shifts if required.

Responsibilities

• Operate Class 3/4 vehicles (tipper trucks, lorries, heavy vehicles) for transporting materials and equipment.
• Ensure timely delivery and pickup of materials to/from work sites.
• Assist with loading/unloading of materials when necessary.
• Conduct daily vehicle inspections and report any issues.
• Adhere to road safety regulations and company driving policies.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and good working condition.
• Assist ground crew in basic site operations when not driving.
• Maintain accurate delivery records and logbooks as required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate Class 3/4 vehicles, including tipper trucks, lorries, or other heavy vehicles for transporting construction materials and equipment.
• Ensure timely delivery and pick-up of materials to/from work sites.
• Assist with loading and unloading of materials when necessary.
• Conduct daily vehicle inspection and maintenance checks; report any mechanical issues promptly.
• Adhere strictly to road safety regulations and company driving policies.
• Maintain cleanliness and good working condition of the vehicle.
• Assist the ground crew in basic site operations when not driving.
• Maintain accurate delivery records and logbooks as required.

Job Requirements:

• Valid Class 3/4 Singapore driving licence.
