Qualifications

Responsibilities

About the Role

We are looking for a responsible and reliable Lorry Driver to join our warehouse and logistics operations team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and timely transportation of goods between our warehouse, customers, suppliers and designated delivery locations. The role will also support daily warehouse operations, including loading and unloading, goods handling and stock movement when required.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive the company's lorry safely for daily delivery and collection operations.
• Transport goods between the warehouse, customers, suppliers and assigned locations.
• Ensure all goods are delivered and collected safely, accurately and on time.
• Check goods against delivery orders and relevant documents before departure and upon delivery.
• Ensure cargo is properly loaded, secured and protected during transportation.
• Assist with loading and unloading of goods at the warehouse and customer locations.
• Coordinate with warehouse and operations teams regarding daily delivery and collection schedules.
• Obtain customer acknowledgement, signatures or other required delivery documents and return them to the office.
• Conduct daily vehicle checks and report any vehicle defects, accidents or maintenance issues promptly.
• Maintain the cleanliness and proper condition of the assigned vehicle.
• Follow assigned routes, delivery schedules, traffic regulations and company safety procedures.
• Handle goods carefully to prevent damage, loss or discrepancies during transportation.
• Assist with basic warehouse duties, stock movement and other operational tasks when required.
• Support the warehouse team during peak periods.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor or management.

Requirements

• Possess a valid Singapore Class 4 driving licence.
• Previous experience as a lorry, delivery or commercial vehicle driver is preferred.
• Previous warehouse or logistics experience will be an advantage.
• Familiar with Singapore roads and delivery locations.
• Good driving record and strong safety awareness.
• Physically fit and able to perform loading and unloading duties.
• Able to handle delivery orders and basic logistics documentation.
• Responsible, punctual, reliable and able to work independently.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Willing to assist with warehouse operations when required.
• Able to work overtime when operationally required.
