Job summary

ELANTAMIL PTE. LTD. is seeking a responsible Lorry Driver to support its transportation and logistics operations in Singapore.

You will transport tools, equipment, materials and goods between premises, suppliers and sites, ensuring timely deliveries and compliance with road safety regulations. The ideal candidate holds a valid Singapore driving licence, with relevant lorry driving or transport experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid Singapore driving licence of the appropriate class.
• Relevant lorry driving or transportation experience preferred.
• Familiar with Singapore roads and industrial sites.
• Physically capable of loading/unloading when required.
• Willing to work overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Operate the company lorry safely to transport tools, equipment, materials and goods to designated locations.
• Plan and follow assigned delivery routes and schedules to ensure timely transportation.
• Load, unload and secure cargo safely to prevent damage during transportation.
• Conduct daily vehicle inspections and ensure the lorry is clean and in good working condition.
• Report vehicle defects, accidents, traffic incidents and maintenance requirements to the supervisor promptly.
• Ensure delivery orders, transport records and other relevant documents are properly maintained.
• Comply with Singapore traffic laws, workplace safety requirements and company procedures.
• Coordinate with supervisors and site personnel regarding delivery schedules and transportation arrangements.
• Assist with general transportation and logistics duties as assigned.
• Perform other related duties as required by the company.
