Job Summary

The Logistics Specialist – Warehouse and Cold Chain Management is responsible for performing general warehouse operations and activities. She/He performs warehouse operations in adherence to procedures and ensures the safe and efficient handling of goods and equipment. Responsibilities include deliveries, asset management, transaction documentation, secure handling of goods, and supporting implementation of improvement opportunities within warehouse operations. The role may require working rotating shifts and carrying heavy loads.

Business Administration Operations

Warehousing, Cargo and Material Handling

• Report warehousing issues in a timely manner
• Perform loading, unloading and arranging of warehouse cargo and items
• Perform warehouse security operations in adherence to plans
• Perform cargo or material-handling security procedures
  • Perform moving of warehouse cargo and items
  • Perform cross docking operations and shipment consolidation
  • Perform warehouse operations in accordance with 5S (sort, set, shine, standardise, sustain) techniques
  • Identify operational shortfall, maintenance or repair needs
  • Assist in application of methods and techniques to handle dangerous goods
  • Assist in application of methods and techniques to handle time and temperature‑sensitive cargo
  • Perform cargo consolidation activities
  • Perform transhipment and transloading operations
  • Comply with height, weight and special handling requirements in stacking, moving, and arranging items on pallets according to storage plans

Job Requirements

• Basic knowledge of SAP/Warehouse Management System (WMS)
• Proficiency in basic MS Office Applications
• Must be able to lift heavy objects and able to stand for long hours.
• Good team player, able to work well independently and in a team
• Fork Lift licence is preferred.

Professional Qualifications & Relevant Experience

• GCE N/O Levels / NITEC
• 1-2 years of relevant working experience in warehouse operations
