Job summary

WYN CONSTRUCTION SERVICES PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks a logistics coordinator to manage tipper truck deployment and soil disposal for construction sites. You will arrange trips, monitor movements, and ensure timely disposal while coordinating with site teams and suppliers.

You will maintain records, verify tickets and documents, and ensure regulatory compliance. Flexibility for hours may be required to suit project operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in Singapore construction logistics or tipper truck operations.
• Experience in construction soil disposal using tipper trucks is required.
• Familiar with Singapore construction sites and disposal operations.
• Able to coordinate multiple trucks and drivers simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily tipper truck deployment and soil disposal activities for construction sites.
• Arrange and monitor truck trips from sites to disposal facilities.
• Coordinate with site supervisors, truck drivers, disposal sites and project teams to ensure smooth operations.
• Monitor truck movements, arrival/departure times and disposal trips.
• Arrange replacement or additional trucks to meet site requirements.
• Maintain daily records of trucks deployed, disposal trips, locations and driver details.
• Follow up on disposal tickets, weighbridge records and delivery orders.
• Ensure disposal activities comply with project and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor delays, rejected loads, site congestion and resolve issues promptly.
• Liaise with subcontractors and transport companies regarding truck availability and rates.
• Verify transport charges, trip records and documents for billing.
• Coordinate with site teams on daily excavation and soil disposal requirements.
• Assist in planning truck requirements based on excavation volume and site schedules.
• Inform drivers of site access, safety and disposal instructions.
• Prepare daily and weekly logistics reports for management.
• Perform other logistics and administrative duties as required.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily tipper truck deployment and soil disposal activities for construction sites.
• Arrange and monitor truck trips from construction sites to approved disposal facilities.
• Coordinate with site supervisors, truck drivers, disposal sites and project teams to ensure smooth operations.
• Monitor truck movements, arrival/departure times and disposal trips.
• Arrange replacement or additional trucks when required to meet site requirements.
• Maintain daily records of:
  • Number of trucks deployed
  • Soil disposal trips
  • Disposal locations
  • Truck numbers
  • Driver details
  • Disposal quantities / tonnage where applicable
• Follow up on soil disposal tickets, weighbridge records, delivery orders and other supporting documents.
• Ensure disposal activities are carried out according to project and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor delays, rejected loads, site congestion and other operational issues and resolve them promptly.
• Liaise with subcontractors and transport companies regarding truck availability, rates and deployment.

Job Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in Singapore construction logistics or tipper truck operations.
• Experience in construction soil disposal / earth disposal using tipper trucks is required.
• Familiar with Singapore construction sites and common soil disposal operations.
• Good understanding of tipper truck deployment, disposal trips, weighbridge procedures and disposal documentation.
• Experience coordinating multiple trucks and drivers simultaneously.
• Good knowledge of Singapore roads, construction sites and disposal locations will be an advantage.
• Able to communicate effectively with drivers, site supervisors, subcontractors and disposal facilities.
• Good organizational and coordination skills.
• Able to work under pressure and handle last-minute changes to truck deployment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and basic computer applications.
• Good command of English. Mandarin or other languages commonly used by drivers will be an advantage.
• Must be willing to work flexible hours when required based on project/site operations.
