Job summary

RMR INTERNATIONAL PRIVATE LIMITED invites applications for a Truck Driver to operate company trucks for the delivery and collection of materials across project sites, warehouses, and client locations in Singapore. You will ensure timely transport, proper loading/unloading, and meticulous log records.

The role requires a valid Singapore Class 4 or 5 Licence with 2–3 years of heavy-vehicle experience, good English, and the ability to work independently, with overtime when needed.

Qualifications

• Possess a valid Singapore Class 4 or 5 Driving Licence.
• 2–3 years of experience driving heavy vehicles in Singapore.
• Knowledge of local roads and traffic regulations.
• WSQ Certificate in Workplace Safety and Health for Drivers is an advantage.
• Able to work independently and overtime when required.
• Physically fit with loading/unloading duties.

Responsibilities

• Operate company trucks for delivery and collection of materials, tools, and equipment.
• Ensure safe loading and unloading of goods.
• Check and maintain vehicle condition daily, including fuel, oil, tires, and cleanliness.
• Follow delivery schedules and routes to ensure timely transportation.

The Truck Driver is responsible for safely operating company vehicles to transport materials, equipment, or goods between project sites, warehouses, and client locations. The role involves ensuring timely delivery, maintaining vehicle condition, and complying with traffic and safety regulations at all times.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Operate company trucks and vehicles for the delivery and collection of materials, tools, and equipment.
• Ensure safe loading and unloading of goods according to safety standards.
• Check and maintain vehicle condition daily, including fuel, oil, tires, and cleanliness.
• Follow assigned delivery schedules and routes to ensure timely transportation.
• Assist in site logistics, material movement, and coordination with site supervisors.
• Maintain accurate records of delivery and trip logs.
• Comply with all traffic laws, company policies, and Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) regulations.
• Report any vehicle defects, accidents, or delays immediately to the Operation Manager.
• Support general site operations when not on delivery duty.
• Conduct basic maintenance checks and ensure the truck is roadworthy at all times.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Possess avalid Singapore Class 4 or 5 Driving Licence.
• Minimum2–3 years of experience in driving heavy vehicles or trucks in Singapore.
• Good knowledge of local roads, routes, and traffic regulations.
• Physically fit and able to assist with loading/unloading duties when required.
• Responsible, punctual, and safety-conscious.
• Basic communication skills in English (understanding instructions and reporting).
• WSQ Certificate in Workplace Safety and Health for Drivers (advantage).
• Able to work independently and perform overtime when necessary.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

• Full-time position (site-based or logistics yard).
• Working hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (may vary based on project schedule).
• Overtime and weekend work may be required based on operational needs.
• Work location: Across various sites in Singapore.
