Job summary

Owens Corning (Singapore) Pte Ltd is seeking a Logistics Assistant/Associate for the 2nd shift (2pm to 11pm) at 3 Tuas Loop, Singapore. You will handle inventory control, kitting, packing, receiving, and shipment documentation to support operations.

Responsibilities include ensuring accurate shipment documentation, liaising with shippers, and managing daily inventory. Proactive planning with freight forwarders and carriers is required, with a 5-day workweek.

Qualifications

• Certificate/Diploma in manufacturing with relevant experience.
• Experience in preparing shipping documents and tracking processes, including custom compliance.
• Experience in inventory control and warehousing.
• Understanding of manufacturing/fabrication processes is advantageous.
• Ability to plan to anticipate shipping needs and liaise with freight forwarders and carriers.
• Security conscious regarding transportation policies within manufacturing environment.
• Import/export knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to safety policies for handling, moving and storage.
• Manage flow of products/parts and prepare kits for issue to operations.
• Handle goods receiving duties and verify shipments against records.
• Prepare items/documents for shipment and determine method of shipment.
• Verify daily inventory and troubleshoot discrepancies.
• Collaborate with business units to achieve operational objectives and management reporting.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
