Job summary

Ichor Systems, Inc. is seeking an experienced Logistics professional to oversee warehouse and shipping operations in Singapore. You will support layout optimization, ensure inventory accuracy, and collaborate with Planning, Manufacturing, and Procurement to maintain material availability.

The role emphasizes SOP development, regulatory compliance, and safe MHE operations while seeking cost-saving opportunities and continuous process improvement across logistics functions.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of supervisory/managerial experience in warehouse or logistics.
• Experience in assembly manufacturing or semiconductor environment preferred.
• Strong knowledge of inventory management and related systems.
• Experience with SOPs and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Support the Logistics Manager in daily warehousing and shipping operations.
• Review and improve warehouse layout, storage, and material flow.
• Ensure inventory accuracy; perform cycle counts and stock-counts.
• Collaborate with Planning, Manufacturing, Procurement and cross-functional teams.
• Address escalated operational matters and communicate with partners.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities for warehouse processes, space, and freight.
• Support audits and documentation.
• Manage MHE operations and safety compliance.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety requirements, and audits.

Job description

• Support the Logistics Manager in overseeing daily warehousing and shipping operations, ensuring smooth, efficient, and timely execution of activities.
• Support the review and improvement of warehouse layout, storage practices, and material flow to optimize space utilization and operational effectiveness.
• Ensure warehouse activities are carried out in accordance with company policies, safety requirements, regulatory standards, and audit requirements.
• Ensure inventory accuracy and support regular cycle counts and full stock-count exercises. Investigate discrepancies and implement appropriate corrective actions.
• Work closely with Planning, Manufacturing, Procurement, and other cross-functional teams to maintain appropriate inventory levels and ensure material availability.
• Handle escalated operational matters and maintain effective communication with internal and external partners.
• Identify and review efficiency and cost saving opportunities for warehouse process, storage space and consumables, and freight expenditure.
• Support in audits and documentation.
• Manage MHE (forklift etc) operations and safety compliance.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in warehouse, logistics, inventory, or supply chain operations in a supervisory or managerial capacity.
• Experience in an assembly manufacturing or semiconductor environment will be an advantage.
• Good understanding of Air/Sea Waybills, export/import documentation, customs permits, Certificates of Origin and cargo handling procedures.
• Good experience in establishing Standard Operating Procedures.
• Strong knowledge in inventory management systems and concepts.
