Job summary

LABGISTICS Asia Pte Ltd is seeking a Warehouse Assistant to manage daily warehouse activities including receiving, picking, packing, and loading/unloading containers or trucks in Singapore. You will also perform cycle counts and help with delivery where applicable.

The role requires teamwork, adherence to SOPs, and basic computer literacy. forklift and driving licenses are an advantage; a safety-conscious approach is essential to operate equipment such as forklift, Reach truck, and similar

Qualifications

• Experience in logistics, warehousing or distributions is preferred.
• Good communication and coordination skills are important.
• Basic computer skills (email, Excel, Word) are an advantage but not required.
• Able to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Follow SOPs, work schedules and regulatory requirements daily or as needed.
• Work as a team with the logistics staff.
• Perform daily cycle counts for inventory accuracy.
• Follow safety rules when operating equipment like forklift, Aisle master and Reach truck.
• Maintain and upkeep equipment for receiving, picking, and packing.
• Adhere to warehouse operating schedules.
• Take on additional duties as assigned by supervisor.

Job description

This role is part of LABGISTICS Asia Pte Ltd (LABG) Logistics Department. The role will be to manage daily warehouse activities such as receiving, picking, packing, unloading containers or trucks, loading trucks, cycle counting, housekeeping and delivery if applicable.

The Logistics Assistant is expected to maintain a clean and safety environment for warehouse activities. He is expected to work as a team and to follow processes and technology usage such as the Radio Frequency scanner.

He will also work with internal departments to build a strong team. He will be reporting to the Warehouse officer or Manager of LABG.

Key Responsibilities

• Follow and execute logistical duties in according to SOP, work schedule and regulatory requirements daily or as when required.
• Work as a team with the rest of the logistics staff.
• Perform daily cycle count for the accuracy of the inventory.
• Follow all the safety requirements in dealing or driving equipment such as forklift, Aisle master and Reach truck.
• Maintain and upkeep all the equipment issued for receiving, picking, and packing.
• Comply with the working schedule of the warehouse operations.
• Any other duties that may be assigned by the immediate superior.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Secondary 'N' or 'O' level school Certificates
• Hands-on experience and knowledge in logistics: warehousing or Distributions.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Basic computer literate skills (email, excel, word) are an added advantage but not a requirement.
• Able to multitask and manage fast paced environment.
• Carries a class 3 Driving License.
• Forklift License
• Know how to drive reach truck or VNA or order picker truck
