Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. seeks a logistics professional to manage transportation, analyze supply chain performance, and drive cost optimization across inbound and outbound shipments.

This role supports network optimization, KPI tracking, and risk and compliance in a global context. You will work with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) and BI tools to maintain data accuracy, develop dashboards, and collaborate with international logistics service providers to ensure on-time delivery and compliant

Qualifications

• Degree in supply chain, logistics, or related field with strong analytical skills.
• Minimum 5 years of logistics experience, preferably in semiconductors.
• Hands-on import/export control experience is a plus.
• Ability to analyze data and present findings clearly.
• Experience collaborating with international logistics service providers.
• Certifications in customs, trade compliance, or DG handling are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Monitor inbound and outbound shipments and analyze freight costs.
• Identify bottlenecks and drive network optimization initiatives.
• Support carrier contract reviews and improve mode selection.
• Track on-time delivery and resolve shipment issues.
• Develop logistics dashboards and KPI reports.
• Ensure import/export compliance and risk mitigation.
• Maintain logistics data in ERP systems and support process automation.

Supply Chain AnalysisAnalyze logistics data and KPIs.Identify trends, bottlenecks, and opportunities for improvement.Support supply chain network optimization initiatives.Conduct root cause analysis for service failures.3. Cost OptimizationIdentify logistics cost-saving opportunities.Analyze freight spend and budget performance.Support carrier contract reviews and rate negotiations.Track savings from consolidation, mode shifts, and process improvements.4. Order fulfilmentMonitor and track shipment delivery statusSupport shipment resolution at Custom and service providerEnsure delivery with Order fulfiled status5. Reporting & Performance ManagementDevelop logistics dashboards and reports.Track key metrics such as:On-Time Delivery (OTD)Freight Cost per UnitTransit TimeInventory TurnsWarehouse ProductivityCarrier Performance6.
