Micron Technology, Inc. in Singapore is looking for a Logistics Specialist to oversee transportation management, cost optimization, and order fulfilment.
You will monitor inbound and outbound shipments, analyze freight costs and carrier performance, and implement corrective actions to keep deliveries on time. You will use ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) and BI tools (Power BI, Tableau) to maintain data accuracy, develop dashboards, and support risk and compliance efforts in import/export operations

Monitor inbound and outbound shipments. Analyze freight costs and carrier performance. Track shipment delays and implement corrective actions. Optimize transportation routes and modes (air, ocean, road, rail).
Analyze logistics data and KPIs. Identify trends, bottlenecks, and opportunities for improvement. Support supply chain network optimization initiatives. Conduct root cause analysis for service failures.
Identify logistics cost-saving opportunities. Analyze freight spend and budget performance. Support carrier contract reviews and rate negotiations. Track savings from consolidation, mode shifts, and process improvements.
Monitor and track shipment delivery status. Support shipment resolution at Customs and service provider. Ensure delivery with Order fulfilled status.
Develop logistics dashboards and reports. Track key metrics such as: On-Time Delivery (OTD) Freight Cost per Unit Transit Time Inventory Turns Warehouse Productivity Carrier Performance.
Monitor shipment security and compliance requirements. Ensure adherence to Import and Export customs regulations and trade compliance. Support risk mitigation and business continuity planning. Manage logistics audit findings and corrective actions.
Maintain logistics data in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.). Utilize BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Excel. Support system enhancements and process automation. Ensure data accuracy and integrity. Leverage Artificial Intelligence to analyze data and build reports.
