Role Description

We’re looking for a proactive, detail-oriented Localization and Operations Manager who can lead the optimization of our translation workflows and systems, while driving company-wide automation initiatives. You will be responsible for managing offline translators, improving translation quality, and spearheading efforts to automate key operational processes across the organization. By leveraging automation tools and systems, you'll help streamline workflows, reduce manual intervention, and enhance overall efficiency, ensuring that Bluente continues to scale effectively and maintain its high standards of service delivery.

What You’ll Own

• Manage Offline Translators: Oversee a network of offline translators to ensure timely, accurate, and consistent translations. Provide feedback and support to maintain high-quality output.
• Translation Quality Improvement: Continuously monitor and improve translation accuracy, ensuring compliance with legal standards and incorporating feedback into the process. Collaborate with AI teams to enhance translation models.
• Automate Operations & Workflow: Lead company-wide automation initiatives by automating internal workflows and processes across departments to improve efficiency, reduce manual intervention, and streamline operations. Build and implement custom automation workflows using tools like Integromat or n8n.
• Operations Oversight: Ensure smooth operational systems for document processing, project tracking, and quality assurance, optimizing for both speed and accuracy.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with product teams to align translation capabilities with product roadmaps. Ensure feedback from clients is integrated into operational workflows.

About You

• 1-2 years of experience in translation management, localization, or operations, preferably in a tech-driven or AI environment. (Fresh Graduates welcome!)
• Experience in managing offline translation teams and overseeing the translation lifecycle.
• Proficiency in automation tools (e.g., Zapier, Integromat, n8n) and experience building custom workflows to optimize operational efficiency.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail and quality.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide clear feedback to translators.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Bonus: Familiarity with the legal, finance, or translation/localization industry, and understanding cross-border workflows.
