Job summary

HSBC in Singapore is seeking a Client Service Manager: Loans to act as the primary client contact for Facility Agent, Security Agent and Account Bank roles, resolving queries with sound judgment. You will coordinate deal setup and ongoing monitoring with operational stakeholders to ensure accuracy.

You will also manage loan closings and primary syndication as Agent, partnering with Originators and Loan Syndication teams for timely execution, while handling day-to-day Loan Agency tasks, condition

Qualifications

• Proven experience in loan agency, with strong knowledge of loan agency functions including syndicated loans, private credit, structured banking and project finance.
• Familiarity with APLMA/LMA Credit Agreements.
• Strong people and interpersonal skills and experience.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to work under pressure while multitasking.
• Understanding of industry standards and loan agency operational risk and best practices.
• Team player, able to work with internal and external stakeholders.
• Willing to face challenges and accept additional responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients when acting as Facility Agent, Security Agent and/or Account Bank and using best judgement to resolve queries/issues.
• Collaborate with operational stakeholders to ensure accurate deal setup and ongoing monitoring.
• Coordinate loan closing and primary syndication as Agent, working closely with Originators and Loan Syndication teams for timely execution.
• Proactively manage day-to-day activities as part of Loan Agency, including condition precedents/subsequent, drawdowns, rollovers, repayments, covenants, waivers and amendments, secondary transfers.
• Develop strong relationships with stakeholders across the wider ASEAN region and across a wide range of sectors.
• Responsibility for safekeeping security related documentation.
• General adhoc BAU activities as required.
