Job summary

Achieve Group is seeking a LNG Trader to join our client’s team in Singapore. You will trade physical LNG cargoes across APAC and global markets, managing positions and optimizing opportunities within risk limits.

The role requires 3–8+ years in LNG or energy trading, with exposure to physical LNG trading, origination or commercial operations preferred. Strong relationship-building with producers and traders is essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Engineering or a related discipline.
• Approximately 3–8+ years of experience within LNG, natural gas or energy trading.
• Prior exposure to physical LNG trading, origination, optimisation or commercial operations strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Trade physical LNG cargoes across the Asia-Pacific and/or global markets, covering spot and term opportunities.
• Identify and execute LNG purchase, sale and optimisation opportunities across different regions and delivery windows.
• Develop and maintain relationships with LNG producers, utilities, portfolio players, trading houses and other market participants.
• Negotiate commercial terms including pricing, volumes, delivery windows, Incoterms and contractual provisions.
• Manage LNG positions and exposures while working within established trading and risk limits.
• Monitor global LNG supply and demand fundamentals, including production, liquefaction capacity, shipping availability, inventories and regasification demand.
• Track key LNG pricing benchmarks including JKM, TTF and Henry Hub, as well as crude-linked LNG pricing.
