Job summary

Achieve Group represents an established international organisation in the energy trading sector, seeking an LNG Cargo Operator in Singapore. You will manage the full lifecycle of LNG cargo operations, including lifting and discharge schedules, nominations and vessel movements, to ensure safe, timely execution.

Collaborating with trading, risk, legal and finance teams, you will negotiate SPAs and MSAs, oversee regulatory and contractual deadlines, and maintain accurate deal records and schedules

Qualifications

• At least 5 years in oil, energy trading or commodities.
• ≥2 years LNG cargo operations experience.
• Strong understanding of SPAs, MSAs and charter-party terms.
• Strong numerical/analytical ability; ability to review schedules and costs.
• Proficient with spreadsheets and trade support/commodity management systems.
• Strong written and verbal communication; able to coordinate with stakeholders.
• Detail-oriented; able to manage time-sensitive cargo activities.
• Collaborative and able to take ownership of operational matters.

Responsibilities

• Manage full lifecycle of LNG cargo operations: lifting, discharge, nominations, and vessel movements.
• Coordinate delivery programmes with suppliers and buyers.
• Ensure operational notices and deadlines are issued accurately and on time.
• Oversee shipping activities for chartered vessels; coordinate with terminals, agents and inspectors.
• Ensure securities, documentation and arrangements are in place before cargo execution.
• Calculate and negotiate laytime, demurrage, boil-off and gas consumption claims.
• Support negotiation of SPAs, MSAs and charter-party terms.
• Act as main operational contact between traders and internal functions.
• Maintain accurate deal, pricing and shipment data in systems.
• Retain complete operational records to protect contractual, legal and financial interests.
• Build relationships with stakeholders and service providers to support cargo execution.
