Job summary

TikTok is seeking an LLM Machine Learning Engineer Intern to join the Global E‑Commerce, Supply Chain and Logistics team for a 2027 start. You will build models to optimize fulfillment, predict ETA, and support merchant growth while applying DL, NLP, and operations research techniques across multiple regions.

You will work with data scientists and engineers to develop knowledge graphs, forecast demand, and improve pricing and inventory readiness for a fast-growing global platform.

Qualifications

• Pursuing an undergraduate or master's degree in a software/CS-related technical field.
• Proficient in ML and statistics with practical experience in ML/DL models.
• Strong programming skills in Python or Java and familiarity with ML frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Develop deep learning and OR models for global e-commerce supply chain and logistics.
• Use big data and DL to predict ETA and logistics events to improve user experience.
• Build logistics network knowledge graphs and forecast spatio-temporal trajectories.
• Apply NLP/LLM methods to address address verification and suggestions.
• Forecast sales and inventory needs using time-series methods and ML.
