Job summary

Mediacorp Pte. Ltd. is seeking a live production technician to ensure studio environments, sets and equipment are prepared for daily news and current affairs broadcasts across CNA and other Mediacorp channels.

The role involves assisting Automation Directors and collaborating with Producers, Designers and Editors to meet technical and editorial standards, including handling new tools and delivering high-quality productions. Fresh graduates are welcome with training provided.

Qualifications

Experience with live production and newsroom systems (Vizrt, EVS, Mosart, Lawo, Yamaha).
Nitec/Higher Nitec in Video Production or Diploma in Electronic/Electrical/Audio Engineering or equivalent.
Fresh graduates welcome; training provided.
Must be detail oriented, multi-task capable, an effective communicator and a team player.
Willing to work night shifts, weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities

Ensure all studio aspects are in order, including set and equipment for News & Current Affairs programmes.
Assist Automation Directors in daily news bulletins and current affairs production for automated and traditional galleries.
Coordinate with Producers, Automation Directors and Graphic Designers to meet technical/ editorial requirements during live transmission with high production standards.
