The Walt Disney Company (Southeast Asia) Pte. Limited in Singapore is offering an internship in Disney Live Events.

You will help create, develop, and produce live character events across APAC regions, supporting on-site operations and talent management. You will work full-time July to December 2026, collaborating with costuming, venue partners, and the events team while gaining hands-on experience in event production, budgeting, and stakeholder coordination.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate pursuing a bachelor's degree in Events Management, Marketing, Communications, Media, or related field.
• Knowledge or interest in event production or event management-related fields.
• Interest or fan mentality for Disney, Pixar, Star Wars and Marvel.
• Self-starter who needs minimal supervision in motivating himself/herself, always looking for opportunities to contribute to our campaigns and overall projects.
• Ability to adapt quickly to a constantly evolving organisation, and to thrive in a fast-paced working environment.
• Ability to prioritize workload to meet competing deadlines and manage stakeholder expectations.
• Strategic thinker with good communication skills.
• Demonstrated strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Demonstrated strong Guest Service skills.
• Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information.
• Creative mindset with the ability to leverage data to develop strategy/decisions.
• Proficient in MS Office, particularly in Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Liaising with key stakeholders to ensure events operations run smoothly, plus character event requirements are met, and safety is not compromised
• Vendor liaison responsibilities to ensure projects adhere to timelines and budgets
• Monitor and coordinate our performer talent base within the region by keeping an ongoing, up-to-date database of performers in the region
• Assist and support the Assistant Manager for talent management (emcee, dancer, performer etc) for appearances or events when required
• Co-ordination of performer talent schedule and payment
• Assist and support the Costuming department on costuming to meet event requirements
• Assist with costume operations when the need arises
• Relevant department related paperwork including but not limited to, Vendor Contracts, Event Schedules, etc.
• Event Logistical paperwork including but not limited to Travel and Accommodation Bookings, Visa Applications, etc.
• Vendor payment related paperwork including but not limited to creating Purchase Orders, Invoice Processing, and WBS creation, etc.
• Think creatively to produce new concepts/ideas, while working with available assets
• Complete one local Live Character event, from start to end
• Provide valuable insights and identify trends in the social media landscape today
