Job summary

GI HR SERVICES PTE. LTD. is seeking a Legal Associate to join its Civil & Commercial Litigation practice in Singapore. The role offers the chance to work with experienced litigators on a broad range of contentious matters with structured mentoring and exposure to court proceedings.

You will manage cases from start to resolution, attend hearings and prepare pleadings, affidavits, and written submissions. Strong drafting, analytical ability, and communication skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Admitted or eligible for admission as an Advocate & Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Singapore.
• NQ to 2 years PQE in Civil, Commercial or General Litigation.
• Trainees with substantial litigation exposure are encouraged to apply.
• Good understanding of Singapore civil procedure and the Rules of Court.
• Familiarity with eLitigation and legal research platforms.
• Strong legal drafting, analytical and communication skills.
• Able to manage multiple matters with attention to detail and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing civil and commercial litigation matters from commencement through to resolution.
• Attend court hearings, Case Conferences, Pre-Trial Conferences, mediations and other litigation-related proceedings.
• Prepare and draft legal documents, including pleadings, affidavits, written submissions, correspondence and Letters of Demand.
• Conduct legal research and provide case analysis to support ongoing matters.
• Prepare litigation bundles and manage court filings via eLitigation.
• Liaise with clients, counsel and relevant stakeholders while ensuring matters progress efficiently.
• Maintain accurate case records and monitor key litigation timeline
