Lithography Process Engineer — Troubleshooting & Improvement

Job summary

UTAC in Singapore is seeking a process engineer with 2–3 years of semiconductor manufacturing experience to address lithography and related process/quality issues. You will own documentation updates and drive continuous improvements on process packages.

The role requires strong SPC/analytical skills, proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint, and ability to work with multiple departments to implement new processes and packaging solutions.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering or Science.
• 2–3 years in semiconductor manufacturing with exposure to dry processes (photolithography/plasma, sputtering) or wet processes (electrochemical plating, wet etching).
• Statistical SPC and analytical problem-solving skills are essential.
• Familiar with MS Excel and PowerPoint; CAD and statistical software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Rapidly respond to lithography/quality issues; troubleshoot and resolve.
• Own PMFEA, OCAP and WI/SOP for documentation and updates.
• Propose and lead CIPs to address chronic issues.
• Plan and conduct new process/package development and evaluations.
• Perform process margin studies to assess capability of new processes/packages.
• Lead evaluation lots and report results promptly.
• Provide technical training and support to troubleshoot manufacturing issues.
• Collaborate with other departments to implement new processes/packages.
