Qualifications

• Relevant Degree qualifications.
• 6 years relevant experience within a commodity focused MNC.
• Demonstrated experience using AI tools and coding to automate data collection, processing and reporting workflows.
• Experience developing automated data pipelines that integrate multiple data sources and reduce manual effort.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to communicate findings to non-technical stakeholders.
• Exposure to trading environment or a strong industry network would be an added advantage.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills (English) are essential.
• Candidates with expertise in applying generative AI to decision-making, market analysis, workflow automation, and productivity enhancement strongly encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Market Analysis & Forecasting: Develop global and regional demand models.
• Maintain tracking metrics for short- to medium-term demand (0–3 years).
• Monitor current market pricing and forecast short-term movements.
• Analyse impact of industry developments on forecast prices.
• Analytical Framework Development: Identify AI-enabled workflow improvements.
• Collaborate to increase intel collection and automate reporting workflows.
