My client is a global systematic multi-pods trading firm.As a Linux Engineer in infrastructure team, you will work on x86 hardware, the Linux operating system, and all the tuning to achieve low-latency trading goals.

Skills:

• RedHat 9, Debian/Ubuntu familiarity: able to build a custom system using a commercial distribution as a base image
• Linux kernel.org version 6+: configure/tune/build/package the kernel
• Rpm building: able to get just about anything working and assembled in clean, portable packages
• Familiarity with Intel hardware, internals, tuning
• Overclocking Intel CPUs: understanding of hardware capabilities (CPUs, DDR4/5 tuning, etc)
• Documentation and Test hygiene: able to clearly explain control systems, test harnesses, and scientific approach to testing
