Qualifications

• Experience in a similar kitchen role is preferred.
• Knowledge of cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.
• Ability to work spilt shifts, weekends and public holidays.
• Capable of performing well in a fast-paced environment.
• Physical stamina to stand long periods.
• Passion for food and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and standards.
• Set up workstations with ingredients and equipment.
• Ensure timely preparation and presentation of dishes.
• Maintain a clean, organized kitchen and proper stock control.
• Assist in receiving and storing deliveries using FIFO.
• Support month-end stock takes and other duties as assigned.
