Job summary

UNITED TEST AND ASSEMBLY CENTER LTD in Singapore is seeking an engineer to provide engineering support on equipment operational issues to meet production output and quality targets. You will evaluate, set up, qualify, maintain and calibrate test systems to meet customer needs and equipment specifications.

You will perform daily preventive maintenance for all testers, assist in equipment qualification and release to production, support downtime analysis, maintain records, and help drive CIP

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering support on all equipment operational issues to meet production output and quality.
• Support engineer to evaluate, set up, qualify, maintain and calibrate test system for operation to meet customer needs, equipment specifications.
• Perform daily preventive maintenance for all Testers as per schedule and support engineer in equipment qualification and release to production in meeting output, quality & reliability.
• Provide line and engineering support that include equipment conversion, repair, maintenance and operational issues to minimize equipment downtime in meeting output, quality and cycle time.
• Prepare daily engineering reports and preventive maintenance checklist for all testers and compilation on equipment conversion/ downtime and performance index
• Perform test equipment set-up / conversion for operation.
• Maintain, install, troubleshoot and repair all in-house test production equipments
• Assist Leaders / Engineers in driving on their respective CIP’s improvements
• Assist Leaders / Engineers in driving on the productivity and cost control effective operation
• Organize, maintain and safe-keep equipment, spare parts and consumables.
• Update maintenance records.
• Lead / ensure good housekeeping, plant work discipline, ESD and safety awareness at all times.
