Job Scope: Lighting Technician - Mediapro AV Pte. Ltd.

The Lighting Technician is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining lighting systems for events, installations, and productions. This role requires technical expertise in lighting equipment, creativity in design, and attention to detail to ensure the visual quality of the final output.

Key Responsibilities

1. Lighting Setup and Operation:
   • Install and configure lighting equipment, including fixtures, controllers, and cabling.
   • Operate lighting systems during events, productions, or installations.
   • Ensure proper focus, intensity, and color balance for optimal visual effects.
2. Design and Programming:
   • Assist in designing lighting plans based on event or client requirements.
   • Program lighting sequences and effects using lighting control software or consoles.
   • Collaborate with event producers or directors to achieve desired aesthetics.
3. Equipment Maintenance:
   • Conduct routine maintenance and inspections of lighting equipment.
   • Troubleshoot and repair faulty equipment to ensure reliability.
   • Keep an inventory of lighting gear and ensure availability for projects.
4. Safety and Compliance:
   • Follow safety protocols during installation, operation, and dismantling of equipment.
   • Ensure all setups comply with regulatory and company standards.
   • Identify and mitigate potential hazards related to lighting operations.
5. Collaboration and Support:
   • Work closely with other technical teams (audio, video, staging) for seamless integration.
