Job summary

Sol Luminaire, a Singapore-based architectural lighting studio, is expanding and seeking a Lighting Drafter to support design development. You will assist senior designers with AutoCAD drawings, develop lighting plans, and prepare detailed construction documents for multiple projects.

The ideal candidate has proficiency in AutoCAD, familiarity with DIALux evo (optional), SketchUp or basic 3D visualization, and capable reading architectural drawings.

Qualifications

• Proficient in AutoCAD and capable of producing construction drawings.
• Good understanding of lighting layouts and technical detailing.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural and interior drawings.

Responsibilities

• Assist senior designers in preparing and updating AutoCAD (DWG) drawings
• Develop lighting plans based on project requirements and design concepts
• Produce detailed technical drawings, sections, and construction details
• Prepare switch plans and lighting control layouts
• Assist with quantity take-offs and lighting schedule preparation
• Coordinate drawing revisions based on site conditions and client feedback
• Ensure accuracy and quality of drawings before submission
• Collaborate with the design team on exciting lighting projects
