Job summary

TRUST RECRUIT PTE. LTD. is seeking a Lighting Designer to develop innovative lighting solutions for retail, commercial, and residential projects in Singapore.

You will create layouts and calculations using AutoCAD and DIALux evo, selecting fixtures and control systems aligned with project budgets and requirements. Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Lighting Design, Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or related discipline.
• 2–5 years of relevant lighting design experience.
• Solid understanding of lighting principles and calculations; knowledge of smart lighting controls is a plus.

Job description

Responsibilities:

• Design creative lighting solutions for retail, commercial, and residential projects based on client requirements and design intent
• Prepare lighting layouts, calculations, technical drawings, and specifications using AutoCAD and DIALux evo
• Select suitable lighting fixtures and lighting control systems based on project needs and budget
• Coordinate with clients, architects, interior designers, and project teams throughout the project lifecycle
• Provide technical support and resolve lighting design issues during project execution

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Lighting Design, Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or a related discipline
• 2-5 years of relevant experience in lighting design, interior design, architecture, or a related industry
• Good understanding of lighting design principles, lighting calculations, and relevant industry standards. Knowledge of smart lighting control systems is an advantage.
• Creative, detail-oriented, and passionate about exploring innovative design solutions that enhance spatial and user experiences
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams and deliver high-quality design outcomes
