Job summary

MEINHARDT LIGHT STUDIO PTE. LTD. in Singapore is looking for a Lighting Designer with at least 2 years of experience to craft conceptual and detailed lighting designs and participate in all project stages from planning through commissioning.

Applicants should hold a tertiary degree in Lighting Design or Electrical Engineering, possess strong communication skills, and be proficient in Autocad and Photoshop; Revit knowledge is a plus. This full-time role is based on site in Singapore.

Responsibilities

• Prepare conceptual and detailed lighting designs.

• Coordinate and follow up on projects to ensure on-time completion and no cost overruns.
• Prepare project proposals including coordination of inputs from other disciplines.
• Present proposals/projects to prospective clients.
• Maintain project documentation to meet quality standards.
• Provide high quality service and creative solutions to strengthen client loyalty.

• Prepare conceptual and detailed lighting designs
• Involve in all project stages from planning, designing, marketing through to commissioning
• Co-ordinate and follow up on projects to ensure they are completed on time and without cost overrun
• Preparation of project proposals including co-ordination of inputs from other disciplines
• Presentation of proposals/projects to prospective clients
• Ensure all project documentation are maintained to a level as required by the Company's quality standards
• Constantly provide high quality service and creative solutions to clients to strengthen client loyalty and gain repeat business

Job Requirement

• Tertiary education in Lighting Design / Electrical Engineering or equivalent
• At least 2 years of relevant experience
• Possess high level of communication skills (verbal & written) and able to interact with people of different background
• Ability to think creatively and come up with original ideas for the projects
• Resourceful and attentive to detail
• An excellent team player who is highly motivated and committed
• Strong proficiency in Autocad & Photoshop
• Knowledge in Revit will be an added advantage
