Job summary

RECRUIT NOW SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. is seeking a Lift Tester/Technician in Singapore to join the technical team. You will conduct testing, adjustments and commissioning of elevators and escalators, ensuring safety and reliability for operations.

The role requires a NITEC in relevant engineering fields, 2 years’ experience, and the ability to work at height and lift 20–30 kg. Working days are Monday to Friday, with OT and AWS bonuses.

Qualifications

• NITEC in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Engineering or Building Environment (Vertical Transportation).
• 2 years of experience in lift/escalator, building services or engineering industry.
• Able to work at height and lift 20–30 kg when required.

Responsibilities

• Carry out testing, adjustment and commissioning of elevators and escalators.
• Conduct detailed inspections and functional tests to verify equipment performance and safety.
• Perform testing according to the company’s procedures and quality standards.
• Ensure equipment complies with Singapore safety requirements and regulations.
• Identify and report abnormal conditions or faulty components for rectification.
• Verify equipment operation after adjustments.
• Prepare test reports, inspection records and technical documentation on time.
• Coordinate with installation, maintenance and engineering teams to resolve issues.
• Follow workplace safety procedures and PPE requirements.
