Job summary

Recruit Now Singapore Pte Ltd is seeking a Lift Tester to support testing, adjustment and commissioning of Mitsubishi elevators and escalators for Singapore installations. You will perform thorough inspections and document test results while coordinating with installation and maintenance teams.

Candidates with 2–4 years in lift/esc, and a NITEC in Mechanical/Electrical/Mechatronics or Building Environment (Vertical Transportation) are ideal.

Qualifications

• Minimum NITEC in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Building Environment (Vertical Transportation) or equivalent.
• 2–4 years' experience in lift, escalator, building services or engineering industry.
• Willing to work at height and wear PPE; able to handle heavy loads.

Responsibilities

• Carry out testing, adjustment and commissioning of Mitsubishi elevators and escalators.
• Conduct inspections and functional tests to ensure equipment is safe for public use.
• Perform testing in line with Mitsubishi procedures, standards and local regulations.
• Identify and report abnormalities for investigation or replacement.
• Prepare test reports and documentation accurately and on schedule.
• Collaborate with installation, maintenance and engineering teams to resolve issues.
• Ensure testing activities comply with workplace safety procedures and PPE requirements.
• Assist with other testing, commissioning and technical duties as assigned.

Our Client, an established provider of elevator and escalator solutions in Singapore, specialising in installation, maintenance, repair and modernisation services, is inviting qualified candidates to fill the position as Lift Tester to support the testing, adjustment and commissioning of elevators and escalators.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Carry out testing, adjustment and commissioning of Mitsubishi elevators and escalators.

• Conduct thorough inspections and functional tests to ensure all equipment is safe and fit for public use.

• Perform testing and verification in accordance with Mitsubishi Elevator's procedures, quality standards and applicable Singapore regulations.

• Identify and report abnormal conditions, defects or faulty components for further investigation, rectification or replacement.

• Prepare and complete test reports, inspection records and other required technical documentation accurately and within the required timelines.

• Work closely with installation, maintenance and engineering teams to resolve technical issues identified during testing and commissioning.

• Ensure all testing activities are carried out in accordance with the required workplace safety procedures and PPE requirements.

• Assist with other testing, commissioning and technical duties as assigned by the supervisor or management.
  

REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum NITEC in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Engineering, Building Environment (Vertical Transportation), or an equivalent qualification.

• 2-4 years' experience in the lift, escalator, building services or engineering industry.

• Willing and able to work at height and wear the required safety PPE.

• Able to handle and move heavy loads and equipment when required.

• Willing to learn and follow established technical, quality and safety procedures.

• Working Days/Hours: 5 Days/Office Hours, 8am - 5.45pm

• Salary: $2,400 Basic (salary will commensurate according to experience & qualifications)
