Job summary

Dynamic Human Capital Pte Ltd is seeking a Technician (Maintenance) to support the preventive and corrective maintenance of lift and escalator equipment. The role involves performing scheduled maintenance, addressing breakdowns, and ensuring safe, reliable operation in line with safety and operational standards.

Candidate should have relevant electrical/mechanical certification, hands-on maintenance experience, and the ability to follow safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Certification in Electrical, Mechanical or related discipline.
• Hands-on maintenance experience with electrical/mechanical systems preferred.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and maintain accurate records.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on equipment to ensure safe and reliable operations.
• Carry out corrective maintenance and repair works to address equipment faults and breakdowns.
• Attend to breakdown reports and support standby maintenance team as required.
• Assist with statutory inspections and equipment checks per regulatory requirements.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, service reports and completed work documentation.
• Investigate equipment defects and incidents, and follow up on quality assurance issues.
• Ensure compliance with workplace safety procedures and environmental policies.

Technician (Maintenance)

Our client is an established company specialising in lift and escalator systems, seeking a Technician to support the preventive and corrective maintenance of equipment. The role involves carrying out scheduled maintenance, attending to equipment breakdowns and ensuring that equipment operates safely and reliably in accordance with established safety and operational standards.

Salary: $3,000 - $3,500 per month + AWS + VB

Working Location: Island wide

Working Hours: Monday to Friday Office hours

Additional Benefits: Laundry, motorcycle and mobile allowances upon completion of probation.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on equipment to ensure safe and reliable operations.
• Carry out corrective maintenance and repair works to address equipment faults and breakdowns.
• Attend to breakdown reports and provide support to the standby maintenance team when required.
• Assist with statutory inspections and equipment checks in accordance with applicable regulatory requirements.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, service reports and documentation of completed works.
• Assist in investigating equipment defects, damages and operational incidents, and follow up on quality assurance issues.
• Ensure compliance with workplace safety procedures, environmental policies and equipment maintenance standards.
• Maintain tools and equipment in proper working condition and carry out assigned maintenance duties under supervision.

Job Requirements

• Certification in Electrical, Mechanical or a related technical discipline.
• Basic understanding of electrical and/or mechanical equipment and maintenance procedures.
• Ability to carry out hands-on maintenance and repair work while adhering to safety procedures.
• Able to perform standby duties and respond to equipment breakdowns when required.
• Able to communicate effectively and maintain accurate service and maintenance records.
• Relevant experience in equipment maintenance, particularly within the lift and escalator industry, would be advantageous.
• Possession of a valid Class 2B motorcycle licence and own vehicle (motorcycle) is required.
