Qualifications

Diploma or Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
At least 3 years of mechanical engineering experience.
Experience in lift/vertical transportation advantageous.
Strong understanding of lift mechanical systems, drawings and specs.
Good communication and stakeholder-management abilities.

Responsibilities

Review tender specifications, drawings, and mechanical requirements for lift systems.
Assess traffic analysis, design feasibility, and compliance with codes and standards.
Identify design gaps, technical conflicts, and potential compliance issues.
Provide technical recommendations during tender evaluation and project planning.
Review lift shop drawings, mechanical calculations, and submissions.
Evaluate installation methods and alignment with approved specs.
Conduct lift mock-up checks, site inspections, and quality audits.
Coordinate handover inspections and rectification of defects.
Provide technical support to project teams, contractors, and consultants.
Monitor performance and reliability of lift components; analyze faults and propose fixes.
Conduct root-cause analysis and implement corrective actions; support continuous improvement.
