Key Responsibilities
- Conduct statutory and preventive inspections on elevator and escalator systems
- Perform safety tests (load, emergency brake, door operation) in line with regulations
- Prepare and submit detailed inspection reports and certificates
- Maintain accurate inspection records and service documentation
- Identify and escalate safety risks or non-compliance issues for corrective action
- Coordinate schedules with engineers and coordinators for timely inspections and follow-up work
Qualifications
- NITEC or Higher NITEC in Vertical Transportation, Mechanical, Mechatronics, or related field
- At least 3 years’ experience in lift/escalator inspection, servicing, or statutory compliance work
- Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces such as lift shafts
- Strong attention to detail with accurate documentation skills
- Proficient in safety testing and inspection procedures
- Able to work both independently and as part of a team
- Clear career pathway to Senior Technician, Supervisor, or Engineering roles
