Job summary

Life Community is seeking a Manager, Life Student Care (LSC) to lead and grow our Student Care services across four centres. You will develop service plans, coach staff, and build strong partnerships with schools and community partners to deliver high-quality programmes for children and their families.

The role requires a strategic yet hands-on leader with 7+ years of relevant experience, a passion for working with children, and a proven track record in programme management and team development.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Social Work, Education, Social Sciences, Business or related field.
• At least 7 years of relevant experience, with experience in programme or team management.
• Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Strategic thinker who is also hands-on, organised and outcome-oriented.
• Passionate about working with children and families.
• Experience in student care, education, social services or community programmes is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow LSC services - develop service plans, programmes and new initiatives in response to the needs of children, families and the community.
• Drive service quality - establish service standards, monitor performance and lead programme evaluation and continuous improvement.
• Develop people - lead, coach and develop centre supervisors and staff, including manpower planning, recruitment and training.
• Build partnerships - develop strong relationships with schools, government agencies, corporates and community partners.
• Support organisational growth - contribute to fundraising events, corporate partnerships, projects and the development of the LSC brand.
